We can worry about the worlds problems later. Lets focus on AP for now.
Whats going on in the state? We might have greatest of the reasons for justifying whats going on, but cant anyone take a step back and see the bigger picture? Who is behind all this uncertainty? The Demand for telangana is not a sin or wrong. Its everones legitamate right to express their demands in a democracy. No one has the right to pelt stones for it. No one has the right to destroy public property or torch buses. No one has the right to attack private businesses. No human being has the right to deny basic necessities to another, irrespective of the logic we come up with. Trash has been piling up for over 28 days now. Who is responsible for the diseases that will spread or breakout because of sanitation issues? Day laborers haven't worked for a single day in the past month. Street vendors are falling in to the clutches of microfinance mafia just to feed themselves and their kids, with a hope that they can work at least tomorrow. No one knows when that tomorrow comes. It's the most vulnerable class of people, at the lowest rungs of our unfortunate society that are suffering because of the high handed "method's" being used. What benefit will anyone get by keeping the whole state in this level of anxious anarchy? http://www.assocham.org/ has said that the state has lost at least 1500 crores, that being a very conservative estimate. Everyone seems to be right, or they believe so, then why is everything so high pitched and senseless? Why is the industry loosing hope on brand Hyderabad, and why is everyone looking for alternate cities? Why are other states running to courts to protect their property and safe guard their customers that travel to AP, who are no way attached to either side of the on going agitation?
Couldn't Gandhi achieve much more difficult goals with non-violence? Oh, are you telling me that it can not be done today, in this day and age? Have you heard of Anna Hazare? When do you think was the last time kids went to school in Hyderabad? Do you even know how many people are dying each day because they are not getting any medical help because the staff is on strike?
Telangana or no Telangana, no body has a right to threaten any Indian citizen to leave any city. Aren't we living in the US? Europe?Australia? Did they ask us in our visa application if were from Andhra or Telangana? Or did you say your nationality was Indian?
Frustration builds up when there are no jobs or opportunities or no hope for future. It is very easy to provoke such people. They are not agitators in this struggle. They are the victims. The legitimacy of the demand is not the question here. The way the destruction is going on should tell us something about the people who are behind such atrociousness. KCR travels in style and roams in Audi cars. http://eenadu.net/News/Statenewsinner.aspx?qry=state2 His son hasn't killed himself or his daughter hasn't immolated herself. Why is it that only poor vulnerable students are killing themselves? If Hyderabad is a part of Telangana, isn't holding the people of Hyderabad at gunpoint a disgrace to telangana agitation? Students are loosing an academic year, businesses are loosing money, and the common man is loosing his hope for survival. Appealing to the animalistic instincts of vulnerable people and playing with their emotions has become a fad in AP. Even Bihar is on the path to development, finally, and where are we taking our state and especially Hyderabad? Blocking roads to Hyderabad is the solution? They are just common people who are as powerless as you are, travelling back to their home. Hurting them, destroying buses(http://www.sakshi.com/main/FullStory.aspx?catid=245825&Categoryid=14&subcatid=0 ), attacking police...who gave you the right?
http://eenadu.net/Pannelsinner.aspx?qry=htm/panel4 : Are we at war?
Every goal in democracy can be and should be achieved with your vote. If we are foolish enough to vote for crooks to represent us, then may be we deserve to be ruled by them. Every right you have comes with responsibilities. Just because we have a right does not mean we can take away someones livelihood in that process. It does not mean we can physically hurt people who have other views. It does not mean we can intimidate anyone based on their appearance or language or their views. We have seen that in Mumbai against malayali's, Tamilains and now against North Indians. We have seen that against Bihari's and people from UP. We have seen that against people from every region, at one time or the other. Every one has a right to peacefully demonstrate, and every one has a right to live everywhere in India. The constitution guaranty's that and its time that the people of AP realize that and stop the madness from escalating further.
